Myomectomy - Ten Thing My Sister Did to Make It All Better

My sister was there for me the whole way. I think she made things

so much more comfortable and fun! If you are going to have a

myomectomy, maybe show your loved one the list

1) Went to the the pre-operative visit and asked questions

2) Was there for surgery

3) Found a private room when they said there wasn't one and paid

for it

4) Ate lunch with me in the hospital each day and walked me around

the halls

5) Made sure a nurse came when I needed one

6) Climbed into my hospital bed with me and watched the horse race

on T.V. and made it kind of fun to be healing

7) Helped me shower in the hospital

8) Took me to get my hair washed at the salon when I was too

exhausted to shower on day six

9) Bought me a plushy body pillow for sleeping on my side (day 6 on)

10) Took me to my post op visit and bought food from my favorite

restaurant to take back home and eat
