Hi Kim!

So glad to hear that your myo went well! Rosie and I missed you at

the DC-area meetup, but had a feeling that your surgery was coming up

soon. Your doctor sounds wonderful, and is someone I will keep in

mind if it turns out that surgery becomes the best option for me.

Congrats on getting the squatters removed, and I hope you have a

speedy recovery!

For all DC-area women, the next meetup for us will be Saturday, May

22nd, at 4:30. We have been meeting in Arlington, VA, but could move

the location if that isn't suiting people. If you're feeling up to

it by then, Kim, it would be awesome to see you and hear first-hand

all about your experience.

Be well!

Thanks for the encouragement. I actually DID come to the Meet-up, and

waited around for few minutes in the Cafe in and Noble. I knew

I couln't stay for long b/c my monthly sistacircle meeting was the

same evening. I hope I'm well enough by the end of the month to come

out to May's meet up.

And YES LORD, I am glad those buggers are gone too. And I only

thought I had 5 or 6 of them....Wait until you see the

poloroids..When I've showed friends and family, they freak out. The

biggest one looks like I had a several month old fetus on my womb! I

cannot believe those horrific things grow in our bodies. They must be

STOPPED!!! :)

You can use cocoa butter or pure vitamin E ..you can buy the capsules @ any

Pharmacy. Just pop the capsules open and rub onto incision.

It does wonders.

Wishing you a speedy recovery

Have you put this information on the D.C. Meetups Message board? If

not, please do so. Members of meetups are not necessarily also

members of this group and everyone who registers on that site for a

Meetup has an expectation of the designated site being THE meetup

site. Unless, that is, you do due diligence with getting the info

online for those other members.

Hello all,

I have tried to keep the information consistent on both forums, so

hopefully no one is missing out on the info about and proposed

changes in meeting, etc. There is a message up now on the meetup

site about possibilities of alternates dates/ times -- thank you

Carla for the reminder.

The only way to be able to officially change things, I think, is to

become a meetup " plus " member, but I am not in a position

(finacially) to be able to take that on. If there is someone else

who would like to, though, it would be nice to have the flexibility!

Over the course of the last couple of meetings we have found that the

dates and times proposed by the website have not worked for those of

us that have been in attendance, hence the changes. Hopefully there

isn't too much confusion. It would be great to get more DC area

women to come to the meetings... the response on the meetup board

site from area women has been pretty low....

As always, feel free to email me off list if you have any questions,

etc. rika23 @ excite.com (minus the speaces). Be well!

There were a total of 14 fibroids removed/burned from my uterine

area. The largest one looks to be the size of a 3 month fetus. She

actually gave me the poloroids. I was absolutely flabergasted that

all of those aliens had taken over my body for who knows how long.

She said there were some coming dangerously close to my Fallopian

tubes, so it's good that we got in there in time. She also found a

moderate amount of Endometriosis as well, which she burned off and

will treat on an outpatient basis probably with Lupron.
