I am considering having UAE in England. The only problem is I am worried because the procedurre is not proven. This is stated by the health care professionals every time I visit the department to speak with the radiologist. I think there is a certain amount of controversy surrounding the procedure. Is there anyone out there who has had this procedure in England, I live in Stoke on Trent and I am considering getting a referral to a hospital down in Surrey, Dr , because I think they are the most knowledgable about UAE in England. I researched the procedure myself and got a world of information from the other group, yahoo, embo group. Check the website www.sirweb.org This is the society of Interventional Radioliogist website. There was one doctor who was listed in england that is a doing uae and recoginized by this society.
