Guest guest
Could anyone give me an idea as to how long it takes for the swelling of the abdomen to go down after a myo? I just wondered how long it would be before I could wear trousers [=slacks/ pants] and skirts. At the moment- 10 days post-myo- I only dare wear jogging pants as they're nice and loose and don't press on the abdomen. Sue
Guest guest
Hi Sue, Yesterday was the third time I wore pants since surgery (Jan 21st). I finally feel " comfortable " wearing them. I say comfortable loosly because they still feel tight and cause pain but I can tolerate it and it feels good to wear clothes again. So 10 days is early. In your 3-4th week you should start feeling like you can wear pants. Just relax and hang around in comfortable jogging pants. Guest guest
Hi Sue My Myo was on Jan 29th and I have slowly been able to wear loose pants this past week. I bought a couple of pairs of pants pre-Myo in a size larger than I normally wear so I wouldn't be restricted to jogging pants, although I wear the jogging pants most of the time. --- suepollini suepollini@...> wrote: > Could anyone give me an idea as to how long it takes > for the swelling > of the abdomen to go down after a myo?
