Guest guest
I have been on 1/4 tsp. twice daily of progesterone cream post-myo, on the advice of my Naturopathic Doctor. Before my myo. I was on 1/2 tsp. twice daily. She took me OFF of Vitex. She wants me on the cream day 8-28, ....she may reduce it to day 14-28, since I am bleeding HALF as much as before my myo . I mean NORMAL bleeding. YIPEEEE !!!!!!! I think she believes the cream WILL balance my hormones.... I will be 49 soon, and STILL getting regular periods !! This leads me to my second question : WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF A 49 YEAR OLD WOMAN GETTING PREGNANT ? Someone here posted an article about the latest research showing eggs in mice replenishing themselves like sperm do (instead of getting old), over the years, .....if this is true, then I might not need a donor egg ? On the other hand, my eggs might not be good, and then there are risks, right ? I know I need to discuss this with my RE. but wondered if anyone here might have any input. This may not even be an issue if my 48 year old boyfriend decides to get a vasectomy instead of wanting to get pregnant ~ ! LOL. Any helpful input appreciated. Guest guest
Here is a linke with age related info http://www.protectyourfertility.org/femalerisks.html#age I do have to say I have strong issues against this campaign, but the site does have some decent factual information related to age and fertility. Also, if you haven't read... ( Mullally) from Will & Grace wants to have a baby at age 45. I say go for it! I think she believes the cream WILL balance my hormones.... I will be 49 soon, and STILL getting regular periods !! WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF A 49 YEAR OLD WOMAN GETTING PREGNANT?
