To the woman with the bulge in her cervix it sounds like a prolapse. If you

have a copy of " Sex, Lies, & the Truth About Uterine Fibroids " by Carla

Dionne, I refer you to page 132. Carla has an excellant explanation of what it

is

and the treatment for it. Please get help for this.

When I checked the status of meetups yesterday I was suprised how few of us

have registered. This is a wonderfully simple way to get together face to

face. I am registered for the Atlantic City, NJ area. If anyone is interested

would be willing to go as far as Deptford, NJ. To the woman who asked where

Hamilton, NJ is; there are 2 Hamiltons. The one suggested for a regional

meetup was the one in Mercer County near Trenton.

My attention perked right up when I saw the suggestion that Raloxifene could

treat fibroids because it is also used to treat osteoporosis, which I have.

Could there be something that would help 2 of my medical problems? I am

certainly not alone here having both conditions. I looked it up in Johanna

Skilling's book " Fibroids " . She mentions that there is some fear that it may

contribute to ovarian cancer. This book is now 4 years old , I wonder if there

have

been any more studies that can shed some light on this.
