Guest guest
Hi , I did that a couple years ago as I was due to have my period on my honeymoon! I skipped the week off a few months before my wedding and as I remember, that month I may have had a little spottingn during the switch but nothing major. After that it was back to regular. I was on Ortho 777 - I'm not sure if Alesse is the same - hopefully your Dr. will call you back. There are some women who skip the week off every month so as to never have their period... Enjoy your vacation! ~Cindy > Before I had my UAE, I was on continuous b/c pills for a while to > help with my heavy periods. Guest guest
, I have done exactly that to control/postpone my periods. Before my bleeding became erratic and heavy, it did prevent me from having a period. After I was diagnosed with a fibroid, I bled regardless of whether or not I was taking the pills. I'd say if you're not bleeding during your regular cycle of pills, you will skip your period if you continue onto another pack of pills without a week off. Guest guest
I did this, and what it did to me, I did get the period but very light, and then the whole month I was bleeding but lightly. It messes it up, but it's light and spread throughout the month. I practice it's ok to do it, so my gyn told me Annie, NY
