Hi everybody:

I just had to post today to vent. I have an apt. to see Dr. Glassner

in Bryn Mawr on May 3rd. Can't wait to see him. In the meantime, I

am being treated by my HMO doctors here in Danville.

I'm on Lupron (last 6 months), have intermittent bleeding and pain

still. My HMO doctors are telling me that they can resect the 2 cm

fibroid and hopefully won't have to take the whole uterus while doing

so. As far as my subserosal fibroid, it is 3.4 cm (was 5 cm before

lupron) and my HMO doctors pretty much told me I would loose my uterus

if I had that one removed because it is a huge fibroid in their opinion.

In the meantime, I am getting discouraged. Dr. Glassner is a ray of

hope for me. How can these other doctors not be skilled enough in

this area. They make me feel like an idiot for asking specific

questions about my condition. I wears on you after awhile. In the

meantime, I have to hang in there until I see Dr. Glassner. Just had

to vent. These fibroids are nasty things aren't they. Thanks for

reading.

Jeanne
