Guest guest
Hi, This is good advice regarding post surgery. After getting home I realized that I was prescribed pain meds that I'm way allergic to by the assisting physician as my surgeon went away and it was clearly stated on my arm that I can't have that med. Also never saw the fool dr who did this. And getting that pain med corrected was misery. Also had problems with my arm from the infusion and the nurse at dr's office had no clue and said I was using my abdominal muscles too much..yikes! Get as much post op info as you can before leaving the hospital. The post op instructions I left with were not even gender specific..so much for womens health or anyones for that matter. JanG >>Aztek p.s: After the operation in hospital, if your gynaecologist visits you, above all else, ask them if you can contact them when you are out of hospital directly and how to do so. Say, in the event you have questions that the GP isn't able to answer. (Gynaecologist p.a.'s may prove more of an obstacle than a help). Out of hospital and x weeks after recovery you'll have a clearer idea of what you need to ask and can't find an answer to anywhere else.<
