Guest guest
Hi Karin, I have the same problem for over a year now. Mine starts right after my period and completely stops at time of ovulation. It drove me crazy!!!! I went to my GYN and she took culters for anything and everything that could possibly cause this, but everything came back normal. I went to another GYN and he also could not tell me what it was. A MISTERY!!!!! Well, I just had my consultation for my 4th opinion, and finally I got an answer, YES it's caused by the fibroids, I've been told that (as unbelievable as it may sound) that is actually bleeding! At first I could not understand, how could it possibly be blood when it's clear in color????? (I still have a hard time believing it) I can't really explain it to you because I barely understood it myself, but it has something to do with blood that is pooled by the cervix and exposed to bacteria (normal bacteria) and it turns color from red to brown to yellow and then clear, I know..... it sounds crazy, but this was told to me by my Doctor, who I consider him to be one of the best. So, it's just another symptom of fibroids. Luckily I'm having my myo in July, and that should take care of the problem. Good luck to you, Marisa ----Original Message----- I'm 54. Still get regular periods. Have a 6cm fibroid which causes bleeding and discomfort all the time... but my question is: Every month, I think especially before my period, I have quite a bit of watery discharge; just clear liquid like water. Today, a week before my period, it was tinged with blood -- but that's because I'm probably beginning to breakthrough bleed now... Anyone experience this? Guest guest
Me too. Didn't have it with my first batch of fibroids, which were not submucosal. But now I have a bunch of small submucosal fibroids, one of which is actually in the endocervical canal. I have a clear discharge that can max out a pantiliner every six hours. I feel it leak out of me every time I sit or stand. Some mornings it wakes me up because it oozes out of me. I figured in my case it was because the fibroid was in the cervix and stimulating more cervical lubrication? > I'm 54. Still get regular periods.
