Heavy periods and the Mirena IUD

Okay here my story sounds like mine. Had not one recection but 2 rections.

heavy bleedinhg dr said lets try the merrina. Great idea. Lets see.... Huger,

moodyness, bad skin Oh yet the cramps. My persoal favort. My dr said they last a

few days. Try a week. Then the dam thing ejected it self and they wanted to

put other one in I put my foot down said No WAY IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!! But then

again my counts droped so low that i needed blood.

I had two small fibroids removed with a hysteroscopic myomectomy plus

an endometrial ablation but I am still having severe menstrual

bleeding. My doctor is recommneding I try the Mirena IUD. I'd

really appreciate hearing from other women who have tried it for

heavy bleeding. How many cycles did it take to see less bleeding?

Did you have any cycles with increased bleeding in the beginning?

How bad was the spotting and how long did it go on? Any other side
