Guest guest
Hi all! DH and I have been TTC for almost 3 years. We have done 2 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Since the last failure I went to a new Dr in Philly who is supposed to be the best for a 2nd opinion. He just did a lap about 2.5 weeks ago and we had the f/u yesterday. He said if we want to continue to TTC, then I need a myomecomy as well as the removal of a uterine septum (which was never found before now!). He said after the myomectomy I would have a 60-75% chance of conceiving through IUIs. The reason I am here is I am trying to decide if I want to have this surgery (open abdomen) and what my chances are really for conceiving afterward. I also would like to know what the surgery and recovery is like. I want to have as much info as possible before making a decision. If anyone could help, I would be very grateful!
