Guest guest Posted February 16, 2004 Report Share Posted February 16, 2004 Im new to the group...I am to have a hysterctomy on the 18th of Feb..I have been dealing with a fibroid for over a yr but just recently started seeing a new dr...After going to them for a hernia of my bellybutton she sent me to a surgeon...I told him I had an odd feeling and puffyness to my upper right abd so he sent me for a catscan well the night of the scan the dr called me at home and told me I had a mass in my abd and he had talked to a gyno and that dr wanted to see me asap...well I talked to the gyno the following morning and per him this mass was Massive....I went to his office that day and saw the scan report...The fibroid had grown from 15.7 cm a lil over a yr ago to 28cm and weighing 12 to 15 pounds...I noticed lil things but thought iI was gaining weight though I thought that was odd cause I would hardly eat since I would feel full after a cpl bites...I was wondering has anyone every had one this large? **karen** Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
