I'm back/Alameda County Meet Up this Month!/Book Review

I’m back. I’ve been in Europe with . Had a fantastic time. My son

& his friends are impressed that I was inside the Beck’s brewery. I had a

fine time at ’s home in Germany, an interesting side-trip to the

Netherlands, AND if you ever want to try to see all of Berlin in a day or

all of London in 5 or 6 days – engage as your guide, tape up your

feet in advance & plan on being in your room barely long enough to sleep and

shower each day !!! Seriously, it was GREAT!

It will take me awhile to catch up with the list – but I want to let all the

S.F. Bay Area ladies know that I’m going to try to get an ALAMEDA COUNTY

MEET-UP going this month. I’ve traveled to S.F. for a few – and the Alameda

ladies seemed to be as interested as those in S.F. and, I LIVE in Alameda

County. So for June, I’m back on my home stomping grounds.

I’d like to invite anyone anywhere in the S.F. Bay Area to join us. I think

there have been several messages lately about how to change your city for

meetups. So, feel free to change & join us in Alameda County (I’m hoping

for a location close to West CoCo County – and not far from Lamorinda either

– so consider it an Alameda AND Contra Costa County gathering if you like)

And, for the lady who asked about the book “Bloody Monday” – in my opinion

you can save your money. Or – leaf through it in the bookstore for free &

leave it there – like I did once. There are several good books about

fibroids, but Bloody Monday is not one of them. It’s just one woman’s story

of her particular misery – and by comparison, she doesn’t even seem to have

had the most awful experiences if you ask me. In the end she thinks she’s

solved her problem by going on some unnamed “product” – but she only seems

to have been using it a very short time when she writes about it. There’s

plenty of blood and guts stories, free, on this list & elsewhere. When I

pay money for a book on a medical problem I want INFORMATION and EVIDENCE –

not personal stories.
