Guest guest
Dear , Its been one year already for you. I know that you have felt great. I eas inspired by you to use Dr. West. He is a great surgeon and I thank you for taking the time to respond to all my worries. Its been 5 weeks and I know Im healing nicely. I have no pain. Sometimes when I overdo a long but fast walk, Ill feel a tenderness, as I did last night. I went to sleep , got my rest and the tummy feels better already. Although my tummy has gone down considerably, When does the lumpy look go away? The lost fibroid weight seems to staying off as long as I get my walks in. Im starting to do some of the free weights but only those that I can do in a sitting position for arms(biceps and triceps). Dr. West did use cell saver which seemed to work great on me. I know that our own blood gets recirculated . He also used pitrocin to minimize bleeding. I thought he used something when he sutured the wound other than steroid and antibiotics. I thought there was a mesh put in to cut down on scar tissue but when I called him yesterday and spoke with him, we couldnt come up with what that might have been. He is such a dear man and his demeanor exudes confidence but he never acts cocky. Than you and all the others in this group that have relayed your experiences so that others could read, learn and benefit. ne
