Question about taking low dose birth control pills

My dr. suggested i start b/c pills ( PROGESTERONE ONLY " Micronor " )

to regulate bleeding etc.

I'm 54, have many fibroids, one 6x6, still getting my period

regularly execpt 2 months ago when things got completely WHACKO as a

result of using natural progestersone cream -- my dr. suggested the

progesterone only b/c pills because I had a clot once a long time ago

with reg. b/c pills... and she said it would make the fibroid grow,

possibly).

ANYHOO... When i started the pills 12 days ago, i really did not know

where i was in terms of my cycle... and NOW.. I think i may be

getting my period.. BUT.. I have 10 more days I'm supposed to take

the pills..

Normally she said, i'd take them for 21 days then get my period ( and

no pills for a that week).

Do I just continue right ahead taking the pills-- even if i'm on my

period?

And.. is anyone else out there taking Micronor ? ( low dose

progesterone only birth control pills).
