Hi,

I've drafted an email (scroll down) that you can use to post to other

email lists, send to friends and post to websites. Just replace your

city name with [seattle] where indicated.

Here are some suggestions of sites to post it to:

Craig's List -- has a lot of city sites around the country which have

fairly high visitation and they have an events area where you can

post to -- anyone can post. I recommend that don't post an email

address for people to contact you and just let people sign up on the

meetup.com site.

http://www.craigslist.org/

City Sites: the City of Seattle has an events calendar that anyone

can post to, check to see if this is an option in your area.

Local Newspaper and Media: Many of your local newspapers will accept

submissions to their events calendars and many of these are now

easily access through their websites. Do it ASAP as for printed pubs

the cut-off is early.

Women with Fibroids Unite!

On Saturday February 21 there will be the first [seattle] area

International Uterine Fibroid Meetup. While not the social event of

the century, this informal gathering will provide women with uterine

fibroids with the opportunity to meet others with this condition, get

support, learn about options and socialize.

Who: Women of all ages, with fibroids or not

When: Saturday February 21, 2:00 PM

Where: Sign up online to vote for our [seattle] MeetUp location

Visit http://uterinefibroids.meetup.com for more information

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous tumors of the uterus that affect

between 25% and 80% of women and can cause symptoms that may include:

infertility, excessive bleeding leading to anemia, and pressure on

the bladder, urethra, intestines that may compromise the functioning

of these organs, etc. Treatment of fibroids can include removal of

the fibroids alone, drug therapy, hysterectomy and other newer non-

surgical procedures.

You know what I mean, place your city name where I've got [seattle]

in my draft.

Also, I started researching the bleeding question that was requested

of me, I hope to have more info hopefully next week. It can get quite

technical, I'll try to make it accessible to the general lay audience.
