I can only echo her feelings of it feeling very reassuring and nice to meet face to face with others who are dealing with some of the same issues: both those related to having fibroids, and those apparently unrelated. I had a really great time, and felt very happy afterwards...and much less lonely. We agreed that we definitely would like to meet again, but the date suggested by the meetup website was inconvenient for us. So, we changed the date and time: The new date is SATURDAY, APRIL 24th at 4:30 pm. We will probably meet at the same place we did before, which was the and Noble on Clarendon Blvd in Arlington, VA. Please feel free to email me either on or off this list (rika23 @ excite. com <-- without the spaces) if you would like more info, or if you are planning on coming (the meetup website is not the best place to RSVP, since their date and our date are different). I would also appreciate emails/ messages from any of you thinking of coming about things you might be interested in discussing or doing at the gathering.
