Guest guest
It sounds very much like gut bugs Happens to us all ( If you have treated yeast before and are careful with his diet, he may have a problem without the butt rash. Bacteria flares promote cranky behaviour in my son, agression, maybe piching or biting. Do you use probiotics?, Enzymes? Hope you get it sorted soon,m glad the language is improving Mandi in UK but his behavior is horrible... like crying a lot and uncooperative. He is on all the recommended supplements and we do Andy's protocol. It seems like he was doing well before we started chelation a month and a half ago. I don't think it's a yeast issue, he is on Nystatin and his butt isn't broken out. I just am wondering maybe he doesn't have a mercury issue or is this behavior mean chelation is working??? Guest guest
Thanks so much for both your replies. We are on Houston enzymes, AFP and ZP, and on Ultra Flora Dairy Free probiotics 3-5 capsules a day...plus about 17 other things...What do you use for bacteria? I think we will take off a month at least. I do really appreciate your kind response. Its nice to have a soul to talk to about this. Guest guest
My son is a definite bacteria kid. We rotate Berberine (Berbercaps by Thorne), Uva Ursi, and Biocidin, along with lots of probiotics and some garlic. Sounds like gut bugs, but are you sure your minerals are all in place? Guest guest
I'd look into Biocidin - yucky tasting but effective anti-fingal/anti-bacterial/anti-parasitic. I have used a short course of low potency (3ppm) Collodial Silver for my sons bacteria which washighly effective but in general this is not recommended for metal toxic kids. However, given the ease of use and effectiveness, I feel it beats Rx meds and yucky tasting herbs every time. It comes in several strengths, I don;t think I have ever seen one as low as 3ppm in the US but have seen 12ppm up to 400ppm. _www.biobotanicalresearch.com_ (http://www.biobotanicalresearch.com) for the Biocidin. Good luck Mandi in UK Thanks so much for both your replies. Guest guest
This is a difficult and ambiguous situation. I'd stop for a while and see if there seemed to be improvement or not, if the DMSA was causing the issues (easiest to find out by chelating again) that suggests toxic metals are present. If you can get DMPS it might be worth trying. It is often gentler.
