I was taking some heavy duty b/c pills before the UAE to help with my heavy bleeding. I went off of them for a month and then resumed taking them, but in a lower dosage. It helps me with the pms, etc. (and also for pregnancy prevention). I was also concerned about them contributing to the growth of the fibroids, so I am thinking in the next few months to go off of them. Good luck.
