Guest guest
Juice, I too see Zinaman, and demanded a thyroid test. I felt suspicous about it like you do. He will give you one! He's so funny, he was like 'sure whatever have your thyroid test' and immediately his nurse took blood. It came back normal but I am glad I had it done. It cost 400 before insurance, the blood tests I had that day. e, and I are all Z patients. My myo with him is 7/19. e, I am glad you're posting I am following yours and 's stories of course. , I read your most recent post about your MRI, and I just want to say that even though I don't know much, it sounds relatively normal. I hope you go get more info. Try to do it at his Loyola office. I had to go over my MRI films with him in La Grange where he can't access them on the computer, so had to spend $130 just to get my own copies and bring them. Guest guest
Thank you Cyndi and for your insights on Dr. Z. I am working on my list of questions and also listing every single symptom I have even if I don't think it is fibroid related. I am going to the LaGrange office as well, but will make sure I make the post-mri appointment at Loyola. Seems silly that they can't send them to whichever office you'll be at but thanks for the tip! > Juice, > > I too see Zinaman, and demanded a thyroid test. I felt suspicous about it > like you do. Guest guest
Juice the others are right Doc Z will do the test if you are concerned. I was extremely pleased with his bedside manner and found him easy enough to work with. He is also honest. He was frank about the problems the first surgury (done here in IN) would cause. He did not try to cover the mistakes made by the idiot which is unusual...they usually all stick together. He did mhat he said he would. A myo which resulted in a normal period.
