Guest guest
You are very lucky to be in PA. I am travelling from CT to see Dr/ Glassnerr and I heard taht people from all over the world travel there. He is the one of the rare doctors who doesn't make you sign a hysterectomy relese form. > I am also trying to decide on the right procedure. I am 39 and trying to > conceive my first child. Guest guest
Sorry to delurk without introducing myself and giving a little background (will come back to that later), but I saw this post yesterday and have been thinking about it all night. Do most doctors " make you sign a hysterectomy release form " ? What does this mean -- that I could go in for a myomectomy and come out with a hysterectomy??? I'm scheduled for a myo next Thursday (one fibroid, about 5cm), and my doctor hasn't said a word about such a form. Am I in for a surprise when I go to the pre-op appointment next week? Any info/feedback would be appreciated :-> Anni > > I am also trying to decide on the right procedure. I am 39 and > trying to > > conceive my first child. Guest guest
Lots of doctors would ask you to sign a hysterectomy release form, saying " in case you start bleeding badly you give us permission to stop it by removing you uterus out " In your case it's a small fibroid and lots of people just leave it alone if it doesn't bother you. I wonder also if you have an open myo or laposcopical one? I know that with this size people do laposc. and in this case3 I guess they don't worry about the blood loss. > Sorry to delurk without introducing myself and giving a little > background (will come back to that later), but I saw this post > yesterday and have been thinking about it all night. > > Do most doctors " make you sign a hysterectomy release form " ?
