I had the embo 6 months ago. I had fibroids the size of20-22 weeks

for the last 15 years with horrendous hemorrhages and pain. Now the

bleeding is better and their size is about 10-12 weeks.

I have horrendous imsomnia for the last 2 years. I haven't slept a

wink and hormonal depression and mood swings. I know it is pre-

menopause. I am only 43 but my mother had menopasue at around that

age. I have relactuntly considered natural HRT but I have read that

if you have fibroids (and I still do have them) you aren't a good

candidate for HRT because they can grow back??? or Hemorrhage again?

I am truly scared of the possibility of having problems with the

fibroids again but I also need help. I am super sensitive and I have

had horrendous reactions to Birth control pills, antidepressants...

So those aren't any help.

Anybody has had any experience with HRT post embo with fibrois of my

severity and agressivity?

Dear Isabel,

sometimes the process of embo can close the blood supply to the ovaries. This

is why you are experiencing the menopause symptons all at once, both your

ovaries may have been shut down from the blood supply. The procedure may have

put you in menopause.

Is your middle very swollen? Take care and I hope you feel better very soon.
