Considering I was not expecting this outcome all has been fine with me. I had surgery in early December and was feeling 100% around the 4 week post-op mark. I had a total hysterectomy (where they take the entire uterus and cervix but leave the ovaries). All is well with my hormones...I did continue to have hot flashes for about a month after surgery, but this was due to the Lupron that I was taking prior to surgery. Guest guest Posted March 16, 2004 Report Share Posted March 16, 2004 Hi,I had a hysterecomy 5 weeks ago doing really good left ovaries took cervix,uturas.Also had a bladder lift all done thought the vagina.I am so happy I got it done.no more trouble with fibroid and endometrial polyp, also some cancer cells test after all send to lab.Doc said best thing could have done to get it all out.Never had trouble before IN Nov.started bleeding till Dec 26-didnt get better then felt like peening all the time and cramping and like if I was pregent so now feel just fine getting better every day.Hope all turns out for you let me know.
