How long should I wait to get pg after c-section?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with getting pg after a

c-section with multiple fibroids. I had my c-section on February

27th. The doctor said to wait 6 months before I try to get pg

again. I do have multiple fibroids, large and small and was on

bedrest for 5-1/2 months during the pregnancy. I am anxious to try

again b/c I want to get rid of these fibroids after I have my 2nd

child. I can't deal with the bleeding and debilitation from the

cramps. I am anxious but I also want to be smart about it. I should

also mention that I had an abdominal myo 5 years ago so I've had 2

surgeries on my uterus now. I am just wondering if anyone has

gotten pg relatively quickly after a c-section. Thanks in advance!
