Congrats on the birth of the girls. I'm glad that everything went good

without to many major things happening. You have given renewed faith in having

fibroids and getting pregnant. What a blessing those two babies are. Take care

and

enjoy being a new mommy. Wishing you all the best.

Hi ,

Thanks so much for sharing your amazing twin birth story with

fibroids! I'm saving this message as inspiration...my question to

you is how big were your additional fibroids on top of the 10X 14

cm one? did you go through much pain during pregnancy? and

did your fibroids move out of the way for the twins? I have huge

pendunculated fibroids all outside my uterus, the 2 biggest ones

are high in my abdomen(they move around mostly stay over my

belly button) 10 X 14, 7 X 7, then I have a low one 9 X 8. Did yours

grow alot during pregnancy? How are your fibroids now?are they

shrinking? I hope so!

We're going to start trying to get pregnant this summer...so I'm

worried about these fibroids! any info you would have would be

great,

Thanks again,

Nadine

The OB who performed the c-sect did an u/s prior to the

delivery to look at the fibroids and babies, and decided the best plan of

action was to make a classical incision (vertical not horizontal)

because Baby B was lying transverse above my biggie fibroid (10x14cm

During the delivery, they needed to perform a myo on one of the

smaller fibroids, and resect an additional one to get to Baby A.

They left the mighty giant alone, but needed to use a vaccuum

pump to help get Baby B around it.
