Guest guest
Leonie Hi, wow, 6 years ago you had your UFE? How are you doing? Any symtoms return? Are you happy with the results? Just want to know. I had my UFE on 1/30. All went well, just waiting for my period now. It's 2 weeks late but I guess thats normal. Guest guest
Hi, I couldn't be better 6 years following my UAE. My menstrual bleeding has stayed at normal levels and I have no indications that I've grown any additional fibroids. For me, it was the ideal treatment. At 53, I'm still waiting for menopause to arrive! Best to you and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Leonie

Guest guest
Leonie, that's great to hear! I've just past 3 years post UFE and still doing fine. I am so grateful to have had access to this treatment! Thanks for your continuing contributions to the list. You must have been one of the " pioneers " if you're 6 years post UFE. Guest guest
Hi, Jill, Lennox Hill Hospital in NYC was the first hospital on the East Coast to offer UAE. I heard about it on a newscast and called them the next day. There was a woman on the Embo group some years ago who either was the first patient on the East Coast, or one of the very first. I think Lennox Hill had been doing the procedure about 3 months when I had it done.
