Dear Jeanne,

I had my myo performed by Dr. Glassner almost a year ago (June 17),

and I can't begin to tell you how much it improved my life. I can't

rave about him enough. I felt very lucky to have found him. He

removed 25 fibroids and acted like it was no big deal. Talk about

confidence!

My periods went from (then)gushing for three days followed by

regular bleeding for two weeks, to (since surgery)three tampons and a

couple of pantiliners for five days.

Sometimes I'd like to go back to the quack who terrifed me saying I

needed a total hysterectomy and punch him in the mouth. (And I'm a

non-violent person.)

I'm sorry I don't post often anymore, but I feel for you ladies who

are only starting the struggle. Research is the key. The more

informed you are, the better chance you have at getting the right

procedure for you.

Since I don't get on the message boards very often anymore, if

anyone would like to contact me please e-mail me directly BUT PLEASE

put uterine fibroids in the subject heading because I delete emails

without reading them if they are from someone I don't know.
