Guest guest Posted February 12, 2004 Report Share Posted February 12, 2004 Hello, Two weeks ago my largest fibroid decided to shift positions and have put me " over the edge " with pain. First it was a horrible pressure pain....couldn't get comfortable and my abdomen seemed to swell 4 times as big almost overnight. Then that subsided a bit, and yesterday I started getting " cervical cramps " with pain and pressure feels like my cervix and bladder are going to come out, LOL......anyway after much begging I got an appointment to see a new dr (I'm new to the area) and he's written a script for synarel, which is similar to Lupron only is in a nasal spray. Has anyone taken this before? How bad were the side effects and how long did it take before you noticed any change in your symptoms? Thanks!
