Instead of using Lupron why not try Megace first

I am still suffering from side effects even four

months post Lupron

I have muscle cramps in arms legs that my GP is trying

to treat now with muscle relaxers. He even sounded

concerned saying that it (the Lupron) should be fading

by now. My blood pressure is rising and is " elevated "

170/90 two weeks ago and 170/92 on Tuesday. He says

it is probably just the pain. He has prescribed

physical therapy to try to deal with the pain in my

back.

I am four months post Lupron with no period. Who

would think that I would miss bleeding but if I went

through all of this and have gone through menopause

due to the meds I will be sooo upset.

I cannot seem to win at this folks.

I am getting depressed that this has not gone better.

I am over two months post myo and I am still having

muscle issues. My back is so painful that shopping,

walking and teaching are sooo hard. I just want to

curl up on my couch and not keep fighting but I have

to keep going. The doc is trying to treat the muscle

contraction but it is discouraging to be in this much

pain. I just need to see some improvement

Hey e,

I am real sorry that you are still having such an effect from the

Lupron. I know you have really suffered. :( Has you Dr. done an

Esteridol test to see if they are coming back up? You might want to

ask him.

I hope you start feeling better....hang in there...it WILL get

better...it has too!

Keeping you in my prayers!
