Guest guest Posted May 9, 2004 Report Share Posted May 9, 2004 Hi there gals, I know there have been several messages about bleeding but I didnt really pay attention as that was never a problem for me. But that changed dramatically last night. I used 12 kotex and 6 pairs of underwear in less than 2 hours, was bleeding with large clumps (hate to be so graphic) ich. Am still bleeding with the clumps but not quite as bad, but also have sever lower back pain (as is usual with my periods). I havent had a period in over a year as I was pregnant then had baby boy in Dec and breast fed. I cut down on the breast feedings to maybe 3 or 4 times a day recently and I think that triggered my period...but I am not sure if its a period or just from the fibroids, or if its normal to have an extremely heavy period on your first p after preg and breast feeding? It hasnt been this heavy ever! Not after my daughter (5 yrs ago)even. My Dr. (he recommends hyster, but no way) said that if it persists til this afternoon I should go into the emergency room. I really dont want to do that! What do you gals think? I would appreciate anyone kind enough to share your experiences with me.
