Guest guest
this subject comes up often A ob/gyn who I went to for a second opinion who is also one of the few researchers in the area of fibroids told me specifically to stay away from any hormone influencing medication as the one thing that all seem to agree on is that fibroids are fed by hormones. Her hope for future answers seemed to lie in genetic research. The interesting thing is that every fibroid, even within the same woman, has different genetic markers. I think that the best advice is to watch what you eat and drink. Here is the best info I have come across regarding fibroid " maintenance " lifestyle measures on the U of C site http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/ucdhs/health/a- z/73UterineFibroids/doc73lifestyle.html > Hello...was recently DX with a lg. fibroid..was given one > option..hysterectomy...of course....this is NOT an option for me..I > have done a lot of reading and found in several books the subject of > progesterone cream use and its benefits on shrinking, and suppressing > fibroid growth long enough for a woman to reach menopause and then > the ugly beasts will shrivel up on their own and DIE!!
