Reposting this because I didnt see my message on the board...

Hi all,

My daughter Gabe (7) who I thought was NT (as compared to my son who

is ASD) was just diagnosed with bi-polar and PDD.

I have done just about everything... Supplements, chelation, diet.

We have started her on armour thyroid. To early to tell if its

helping.

Can anyone give some insight- are there any good sources of info out

there?

She was so bad, I pulled her out of school. She was out for 6 weeks,

and I started her again for 1/2 day. Its fair at best. She is

defiant, anti-social, refuses to work, and totally distracted.

I am trying to avoid meds- but I am running out of options.

It can be a lot of things. I don't see anti-viral here. Are some of

the supplements anti-virals?

Certain supplements *created* problems for my son.

This sounds like possibly yeast also.

Good luck.

developed " bipolar " symptoms literally over night. He went to bed

one night with a stiff neck and headache and woke up a different person. At

the same time, he developed hemorrhage nosebleeds, fungal skin infections,

and his feet were turning blue. He also had pneumonia. Every time he went

on antibiotics, his behavior improved, only to deteriorate when he was off

of them again. His ped eventually got suspicious and tested him for the

list I gave you. It was then that they found a number of abnormalities in

his immune system, along with a toxoplasmosis infection. MIke's platelets

had dropped to dangerously low levels. Had he not gotten treatment for the

toxo, immune globulins and anti-virals, he probably would have died from

infection.

Most probiotics are milk-based. If they're dairy-free the label will

specifically say so.

We tried diflucan for yeast (along with probitics). I tried biocidin
for

bacteria- but I probably should have extended the time frame.

I wonder if I am back at square one with the intestinal issues, and

should just start all over....
