If I like the person and think they can understand, I write them a letter.

I'm sick of it, but I am getting pretty good at it.

My father, friend's girlfriend, work, etc.

I am almost 52 and still not in menopause. As my obgyn says, my body is

refusing to cooperate :)

I have a HUGE fibroid - about six months size. I've been taking Lupron

shots for about seven months (too long, I know) and after about two months

on it, began feeling much better and my stomach began to shrink (and my

waistline and boobs - never let anyone tell you the size of a fibroid

doesn't affect the size of your boobs)!

I got laid off from my job and thought my insurance had ended so I went for

six weeks without a Lupron shot and had an 11-day period in the middle. It

was awful! I was exhausted and lost a lot of blood and, worst of all, my

body got HUGE again!

Fortunately, I found out my insurance had not ended and so I rushed in

yesterday and got a Lupron shot.

My CA125 is elevated as is sometimes the case with fibroids and

endometriosis. My doctor doesn't quite know what to do re surgery because

I have had blood clots before and he would rather not do major surgery if

he doesn't have to. However, he feels the fibroid might be pressing on my

kidneys and, if so, I will have to have surgery. I have to schedule a

barium enema and IVP test now!

If I was just in menopause, I could perhaps get away with doing nothing.
