I went for an MRI and an enema was not required. If I remember correctly, I was

instructed not to eat or drink anything 4 hours prior to the MRI. I had with

and without contrast.

Just wanted to let you know that when I had my MRI, the instructions

also called for an enema, but when I called the lab in advance and

asked them about it, they told me it wasn't necessary. You may want

to check too. Good luck.

Thanks for the info; I will definitely call the lab! I had a weird and

unpleasant dream last night about the enema... that¹s a little

pre-treatment stress!
