I've been busy reading all the posted messages and I am really learning a lot from your experiences/stories. This group made me more brave on my coming surgery. My myomectoy is scheduled on Friday April 30. Thursday I have a pre surgical appt at the hospital to meet with nurses, lab staff, admitting reps and where the OR is etc. etc. I can't wait to get this fibroid out. I had symptoms of heavy bleeding and I'm also anemic. My Dr said I will probably need blood trasfusion about 2 units. My sister and mother is giving me 1 unit each. Keep posting!
