Hi gals!

I am new to this group, and yes I have fibroid. One big one! 6 x 7 x 7 x 8.2 cm.

It is on the fundus area. I have no particular symptoms, no heavy bleedings no

pain. My doctor suggests that I should go for a myo. I am 30 and thinking of

having a baby for the first time! Should I go for myo before having a baby? or

after? I am not sure if this big roid will give me problems during pregnancy or

if it will cause infertility. Does any one of you gals have the same problem?

Anyone had fibroid this size and got pregnant? I am so afraid of going under the

knife! Please help me out here gals!

things worse..Im 30 yrs old, got my MYO last year Sept 2004, i got 2 fibroids

removed because i was bleeding for 2 months straight with huge clots, i have

never been pregnanand want to try to have a baby ASAP..i feel as if my

biological clock is ticking away..

Hope this helps

Hi,

You might want to seek out a RE for your answer. If a fibroid is in certain

locations, it can stop you from becomming preggie or cause you problems

including miscarriage. Ask a RE.

Hi gals,

Thank you so much for your help.

During my last visit, my doctor told me that it is best to go for myo, due to

the size of the fibroid. It freaks me out! After that, I have gone into

" research mode " on the internet and read so much about fibroid. I am so glad

that I have found this website! I felt that I needed to talk to someone who have

the same problem.

After reading all your comments, I think I will not go for the myo, just try to

get pregnant ASAP. Hope it all goes well. My next visit to the doctor will be on

14 May. I will talk to him about this, because I think you gals are right I will

only do something to it if it causes infertility, otherwise there's no point of

treating it.

I will keep you gals updated.

Thanks again for all your help!

Amy
