Hi Sue & everyone,

I may be wrong here, but in my month or so on the list I have noticed that

women with " .uk " addresses seem to say they got sick from anaesthetic, and not

US women? Am I crazy? Do the 2 countries use different anaesthesias? Or use

different quantities?

Thoughts?

I would like to add that, while I wish my fibroids caused no symptoms

(because if they did I would do very little), I am definitely a case of someone

who

had symptoms creep up on them, to the point where I feel I have been living a

half-life for over 5 years and just now realized it. From what to wear to

planning vacations, to pursuing dating/intimacy and other goals, fibroids have

slowly but surely taken over my life.

Watch and wait and educate, indeed.

Have a plan, get a good Doctor on hand in case you have to go to ER -- make

sure this doc knows not to do an emergency hysterectomy unless life/death

issue. This is my biggest fear.
