Guest guest
, I am sorry to hear about this, it seems like you and your husuband have certainly had to deal with more than your share of suffering due to the fibroids. I am struggling with high blood pressure at the moment, or at least significantly elevated but not dangerous. I haven't read much on this yet, but I have heard that it can affect how women experience orgasm just as it can with men. I have had somewhat less pleasure from orgasms since the embo (but don't panic everyone, it isn't that much of a problem, I still enjoy them) and I am now wondering if it could be to do with the blood pressure. Among other things I am now wondering if - having got used to dealing with severe anaemia for 16 years - whether my heart and circulatory system somehow have trouble when they started having to deal with normal levels of haemoglobin. I know very little about this whole thing, so maybe this is a stupid thought. Any ideas? Women who have been dealing with severe bleeding for years should certainly read up on blood pressure and get it checked regularly after treatment. Untreated high blood pressure is not a good thing to have. It is certainly possible that having been on high doses of progesterone your body will need a long time to adjust. We had a woman on the German board who had a high dose progestin shot. It took her body about a year to get back to normal after the myo. She wrote to the manufacturer who admitted that yes, quite a lot of women suffer from disturbed cycles up to a year after the shot was supposed to have ceased to be effective. However her problem was irregular and heavy bleeding, not libido. Maybe you should just try and enjoy closeness with your husband for the time being. I am sure your normal libido will return. I certainly hope that it does and that you are blessed with a baby. Take care, At 11:05 07.04.04 +0000, you wrote: >Now, there's no zing.
