Guest guest
Dear Dolly, I am so glad that you are doing well. My incision site was tender for several weeks and I still wouldnt want to bump my stomach. But I never had any oozing from the incision. The bit of blood (vaginal) continued for about two and a half weeks, stopped and at four weeks I had some bleeding for about one more week and that stopped. Now I am at my six week mark and feeling almost 100%. I am back to excersizing except abdominals( I want to wait 2 more weeks on that one). I have noticed a decrease in the lump above the incision. Its amazing that when I wake up my tummy is so flat. Im wearing all my rrgular clothes. I am justr so glad that I went to this wonderful surgeon after talking to several women on this group. I flew to New York having never met this man..Several weeks before my surgery date I bumped into a woman that was a soccer mom. I remembered her telling me about the HERS foundation. Anyway I told her about my upcoming surgery and she wanted to know who my surgeon was to be..I told her it was a Dr. West in New York. She got all excited and told me that she also flew up to him after all these docs in Florida said myo coyuldnt be done on her. That was 10 years ago that she had her surgery and she told me I was in great hands and had nothing to worry about. She is in her 50s and has had no further problems from recurring fibroids. I felt great after that testimonial and never thought twice about it . Anyway, you sound great and I am sure it will still be several weeks to get energy back after having major surgery. Boy, he is really good to have tackeled this surgery so well in light of your past DVT. Best wishes, ne
