Guest guest Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 I'm 37 yrs old and was just found out that I have a Fibroid Tumor 8 " in diameter. It is located between my right overie and my uterus. Of course this has caused distress on the overie (not to mention myself) and I now have 3 cysts on it. WEE.. To make matters worse my doctor will be out of town for a week so I will be unable to discuss treatment options. Needless to say I intend to be somewhat educated when I speak with him on what my options are. I have all of the usual problems. Continually spotting, pelvic pain, periods that put me in bed for 3 days, and everyones favorite, when I sneeze I tinkle. The tumor has caused distention and my uterus is trying to play peak a boo with the outside world. We are still wanting one more child and think my uterus may come in handy and are looking for other treatment options. Removal of the tumor without hysterectomy.
