Uterine artery embolization Experiences

Hello, This is a great site wish I would have found it years ago when

I first found out I had fibroids. I went in Monday for a MRI with

contrast. Wow that was time consuming an 1 hr and half. The

injection of the liquid metals that is used makes you feel strange, I

guess it's just knowing that it is forgien. My Gyn Dr has wanted to

do a hysto for years. I just have been waiting it out untill I can't

take it any more. Now I am ready to have something done. I found a

IR Dr in Dallas and plan to have a uterine artery embolization. I'm

nervous about it and would like to hear of experiences from those of

you who have had one. If any of you would like to tell your

experience and results I would really appreciate it. Thanks
