Guest guest Posted May 23, 2004 Report Share Posted May 23, 2004 , Nice to meet you. I am 52 and have had fibroids at least 11 years. I am having UAE on 5/27/04. I nearly had one 2 years a go but I had an ultrasound that made it look like they were decreasing in size so I didn't go through with it. The ultrasound was wrong. Since then they have continued to grow. I have pressure on my bladder and bowels and constant light bleeding. I am hoping the UAE will help. I have been fortunate not to have heavy bleeding for the past year. When I did have heavy bleeding it was due to 2 uterine polyps which my gyno removed hysteroscopically. P.
