Guest guest
RE: Amazing shifting fibroid: You bet they move around. They don't have to be pedunculated to do it, either. In the two years prior to my UAE, I had several episodes where I just could not 'go'. In both cases after about 5-10 mins I was able to get the urine to flow, but it just freaked me right out. The other fun thing that started to happen was that I had trouble emptying my bladder just about every time I went; I'd have to force it all out. This was the primary reason that I decided to have my UAE (and since then I have had no more problems.) I should also note that there is another unfun thing that can happen with the moving object. Imagine the joy when it collides with your partner's body part (in this case the male version.) Boy did that hurt (me not him). In my case I was lucky because it only happened once, but it was memorable in a very bad way. After the UAE I realized that I'd had unpleasent pressure with sex for years (never all that bad though) and that was another thing that got fixed by the procedure. I'm going on my 1 year anniversary. I can tell that my fibroids continue to shrink, I've been symptom-free for 11 months, and I feel GREAT. ---- Message: 4 Date: Wed, 7 Apr 2004 12:02:09 -0700 (PDT) From: Annette Willis Subject: Re: the amazing shifting fibroid When I can't go, I definitely need to, but it can't get out. I was wondering if the fibroids move around...or are they maybe floating in liquid..
