Guest guest
Quick correction -- oops -- I see you are trying to get records from a previous doctor who you were not happy with. In that case, perhaps proceed directly to the less " happy " letter option. Sorry for not reading carefully before posting!! Sunny > So- I've sent payment for my copies weeks ago and still nothing and > the nurses in his office are less than helpful now that I've turned > down the hyst op. > Anyone know if these folks have a right to hold back on my records? I have an ongoing medical issue unrelated to my fibroids or ovaries and I need these records ASAP.
Guest guest
I believe this is to Jan G but cannot find the original post You can always try my favorite method of getting your paperwork... I went and sat in his office then stood in the hall next to the xerox machine until it was in my hands. It is a bit nervy and annoying to doctors nurse, secretary etc but toward the end it was the only way to be sure I got copies of each page. You can bet if there is something there that no one wants you to see you may have to fight for it. Also if your tests were run at a hospital or outside facility try to backdoor getting your information. The hospital not knowing that my Doc was stalling me, gave me my MRI results which showed he had not removed a large tumor. Contact the radiologist dept and they will tell you what your hospital may call the " records dept " . This worked on the blood draws too. And do not take " no " or " get them from your Doctor " ...these are YOUR records. --- sun2dae sun2dae@...> wrote: > Quick correction -- oops -- I see you are trying to > get records from > a previous doctor who you were not happy with.
