Guest guest
I'm still considering hysteroscopic resection for submucosal fibs, and my dr says he often uses a drug called Hemabate afterwards to cause uterine contraction to squeeze out the part of the fibroid that remains embedded in uterus. Anyone have any experience with this? From Googling, it looks like the drug is approved for use in controlling postpartum hemorrhaging, and to expel a fetus when an abortion fails. The dr did say it was an " off-label " use of the drug. The active compound in Hemabate is carboprost tromethamine. Jean
