Guest guest
I hope your recovery goes well ! I'm intrigued by the staples comment. I had staples on an abdom myo horizontal incision, and it worked very well for me. They looked pretty much like office staples, they were removed at the tail end of the week of my operation and their removal didn't hurt. There were dot marks where the staples went in that quickly healed and vanished. I had no problems with them at all. Aztek

Guest guest
Hi It was good to read your are doing OK I am scheduled for my abdominal myo on the 5th may I have 8.5cm, 4.5cm and 3 x 1.5cm fibroids and one polyp My gyno is removing the polyp first internally and doing a curette and then performing the myo. I am really scared of the recovery as I had a brain tumour 4 years ago and it has been such a long slow recovery for that and I know who I felt after that surgery. He assures me it will be nothing like that. I hope not. My surgery for my head was 10 hrs so surly the myo wont take that long. Wish me luck > Hi everyone! > I'm now 4 days post-op from my myo and I just wanted to share some > of my experinces with anyone else who's about to go under the knife. > I had decided on an epidural and heavy sedation instead of general > anesthetic.
