He was very open and said I could call him any time with more questions, that his nurse would track him down for me. Since my fibroids are not causing bleeding ( I had the ablation because of heavy bleeding, gushing, anemia, etc), if the MRI doesn't show that they're near the bladder or bowels, causing me my symptoms, then he's not going to do the procedure. He said just the size of my uterus, pressure problems, bloating are not enough reason. They'll be calling me tomorrow to set up the MRI. He said that more than likely I had these fibroids for some time and that they had caused my previous bad bleeding problems. I really liked the IR and he's done about 80 procedures.
