I am scheduled for my abdominal myo on the 5th may

I have 8.5cm, 4.5cm and 3 x 1.5cm fibroids and one polyp

My gyno is removing the polyp first internally and doing a curette

and then performing the myo.

I am really scared of the recovery as I had a brain tumour 4 years

ago and it has been such a long slow recovery for that and I know who

I felt after that surgery. He assures me it will be nothing like

that. I hope not.

My surgery for my head was 10 hrs so surly the myo wont take that

long.

Hi ,

You've got nothing to worry about. I am sure almost

all of us who have gone thru myo or hyst. were scared

initially- I almost chickened out at the last minute,

but looking back I am glad I had the surgery. You'll

be fine. Positive attitude helps too.

God bless.
