Guest guest
I was wondering if anybody could recommend a very good quality liquid iron supplement and a liquid mineral supplement to help me through my detox program? I'm hoping that by detoxing my body before my July abdominal myomectomy, I'll be healthy and ready to face the 'aftermath' with a strong body and immune system. I live in Canada, so the brand per se might not be available in- store here, but any recommendation (ie brand; what to look for, as in type & quantity of iron -- gluconate, feeous, fumarate, etc) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, sKY::

Guest guest
Recently, I found SSS Tonico at a Walmart store here in Texas for just under $7. I was looking for an alternative to iron pills. Most liquid tonics I saw in the whole foods store had less iron than what was recommended to me by a doctor when I was recovering from anemia. SSS is a high potency supplement that contain very high levels of Vitamins B1, B2, Niacin and Iron. The serving size is 3 Tbsp so you could cut it down to 1 or 2 Tbsp which is what I did to stay within the range of the high potency iron pill that was recommended to me by a doctor. I can't recommend it highly, however. The taste is awful even when mixed with a juice or other beverage. It also contains 12% alcohol. The whole foods market had tonics with lower levels of iron meant to stay just under the RDA for women and may have better flavors than SSS.
